Following the loss of our only child, Dean "DJ" Ashenfelder, Jr. we started a Facebook page to raise awareness of the dangers of illicit fentanyl A few months later that grew to a non profit organization sharing information and finding ways to keep our son's voice alive. We feel his death can be a wake up call to the many who think it can't happen to me or my child. We work to erase the stigma surrounding Substance Use Disorders. The fentanyl crisis is huge and does not discriminate. All kids and adults are at risk as long as this poison remains in the country.
